Job Summary

The EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing Application Analyst 1 is primarily responsible to configure and provide intermediate functional and technical support for projects and strategic initiatives for the specific application or set of applications to a variety of business and clinical users. In addition, part of the responsibility is to collaborate with end users to understand the workflow and its interdependencies and make corrective adjustments or enhancements through projects and agile workflows. This role is the central point of communication for a variety of users and will coordinate all activities on behalf of BSWH Enterprise Platforms.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Assists with the scoping, build, and go-live support for the billing software applications.
  • Creates and executes test scripts for new system builds timely and effectively.
  • Provides analysis and documentation of workflows, data collections, end-user report details and other technical issues associated with applications, applying both vendor and internal stakeholder consideration.
  • Creates, modifies and tracks system build timely and effectively.
  • Provides support for normal maintenance of upgrades and system maintenance.
  • Implements system updates and changes and communicates those changes to key stakeholders and end users.
  • Provides ongoing application support and end user training for all supported applications.
  • Engages, manages, and communicates to all key stakeholders.
  • Mentors entry level analysts by providing guidance and support.
  • Solves problems by analyzing business issues and requirements, analyzing workflows, and synthesizing key messages.
  • Assists in the coordination of training materials and schedules for all super users and end users, and serves as liaison between end users, subject matter experts and vendor implementation team.

Key Success Factors

  • Working knowledge of end user workflows; has an understanding of the workflows and the inputs/outputs from an end user and patient perspective.
  • Ability and experience understanding end user workflow and owning the technical components of that workflow.
  • Ability to work well in team environments and facilitate integrated meetings.
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, workflow tools, and email software applications in an intermediate capacity.
  • Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principles.
  • Self-motivated with ability to identify and resolve issues and advance personal knowledge.
  • Ability to execute complex tasks through organization and details driven approach.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills, among facility customers and team members.
  • A motivated, quick learner of software and information technology.
  • Proficient in accurate, thorough, and complete documentation.
  • Epic application knowledge to build, test, support and train.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor''s or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
  • EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Epic Certification (EPICCERT) - Preferably Epic Resolute Hospital Billing
