Data Strategy / Implementation Coordinator

The Data Strategy / Implementation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating enterprise data strategy initiatives, Epic reporting implementations, and analytics programs that support organizational decision-making and operational excellence. This role partners with clinical, operational, financial, and technical stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions align with business priorities, data governance standards, and implementation objectives. The Coordinator serves as a key liaison between business leaders, analytics teams, and Information Technology to facilitate reporting initiatives, optimize Epic reporting tools, and drive successful implementation of enterprise data strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate enterprise data strategy initiatives, Epic reporting implementations, and analytics projects across multiple departments.
  • Support Epic reporting and analytics applications, including Reporting Workbench, Cogito, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, and related reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with operational, clinical, financial, and executive stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable implementation plans.
  • Coordinate reporting implementation activities, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, governance standards, and project timelines.
  • Facilitate enterprise reporting governance by supporting prioritization, change management, issue resolution, and reporting standardization.
  • Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and barriers, and coordinate resolution activities to maintain project success.
  • Promote data quality, reporting consistency, and adherence to enterprise data governance policies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between analytics teams, Epic application teams, operational leadership, and Information Technology.
  • Assist with workflow analysis, report validation, testing coordination, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
  • Support ongoing optimization of reporting processes and analytics capabilities to improve organizational performance and decision-making.
  • Prepare project status reports, implementation updates, and performance metrics for leadership and governance committees.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and ensure timely follow-up on action items and implementation deliverables.

Required Experience:

  • Experience leading healthcare data strategy, reporting, analytics, or implementation initiatives, preferably within an Epic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Epic reporting and analytics tools, including: Reporting Workbench, Cogito, Caboodle, & SlicerDicer
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting, analytics implementations, and strategic data initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, reporting standards, and data quality management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into implementation priorities while balancing operational support and project objectives.
  • Experience coordinating multiple initiatives within a complex healthcare environment.
  • Experience coordinating Epic reporting implementations or large-scale healthcare analytics initiatives.
  • Understanding of enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, and reporting standardization.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, coordinate resources, remove barriers, and manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with operational, clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, manage project documentation, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
