Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
In accordance with established policies and procedures, directs and coordinates activities and assignments of Environmental Services aides and/or project aides on assigned shift, maintaining documentation as appropriate.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping/environmental services experience in an acute care hospital setting
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve as needed while maintaining workflow and daily activity
Ability to think critically in making decisions and problem solving to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.
Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills in working with stakeholders across the care continuum, including patients, families, physicians and colleagues.
Ability and flexibility to handle interruptions while maintaining momentum in meeting hospital-wide environmental needs
Ability to work independently exercising good judgment in addressing all task and staff related activities and challenges
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
Experience in a supervisory or lead role in an acute care setting
Strong computer knowledge a plus
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma. Some college preferred.
