Build your future with Volt.Volt is immediately hiring Environmental Specialist in Maplewood MN.As an Environmental Specialist you willJob DescriptionDay to Day Responsibilities Lead EHS risk assessments including escalating to additional subject matter experts as needed Serve as hazardous waste coordinator including updating waste stream profiles for new materials planning for lab clean-out days and connecting clients with guidance for miscellaneous waste types Conduct exposure assessments and personal protective equipment PPE assessments Lead routine EHS inspections Participate in incident investigations Track EHS activities such as action items and pending approvals Maintain active communication channels within EHS team and with R&D groups Share information with applicable team members including escalation of issues sharing successes and noticed trends Activities to support EHS programs related to risk assessment and controlThis is a Full Time Contract opportunity.Shift 1st shiftExpected Duration 12 monthsRequired Skills & Qualifications Seeking candidates with EHS experience or interest in EHS. Experience in an R&D setting is also beneficial. Ideally seeking 1 years of experience.
