The EVS Tech 1 ensures patients, visitors and hospital staff have a safe, clean, functional and aesthetically attractive physical environment consistent with the standards established by Bartlett Regional Hospital, The Joint Commission, the State of Alaska and other regulatory agencies.EVS Tech 2:Under general supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, the EVS Tech 2 functions as the floor expert in addition to performing routine Environmental Services functions. The EVS Tech 2 maintains facility floors by stripping, waxing, cleaning carpets, and using other mechanical equipment to perform their job duties. This position performs a variety of general cleaning tasks of inpatient ancillary, outpatient, and administrative areas of Bartlett Regional Hospital. The EVS Tech 2 ensures patients, visitors, and hospital staff have a safe, clean, functional, and aesthetically attractive physical environment consistent with the standards established by Bartlett Regional Hospital, The Joint Commission, the State of Alaska and other regulatory agencies.Minimum Qualifications for the Job:EVS Tech 1Preferred Education: High School diploma or the equivalent.Preferred Experience: Experience in institutional housekeeping.Certification(s): NoneLicense(s):NoneEVS Tech 2Preferred Education: High School diploma or the equivalent.Experience: Six (6) months of experience as a custodian or similar position with floor care experience.Certification(s): NoneLicense(s):NonePractice Notices:All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to start of employment.
