AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Environmental Services Supervisor, Full-time at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, OH. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Includes paid holidays and FREE Fitness Center Membership.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage locations and service teams with a hands-on approach
- Motivate and support staff; communicate clear performance expectations
- Ensures cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards are met throughout the facilities
- Manage inventory control, product forecasting and supplies ordering
- Monitor operating procedures, supervise staff and provide training development as needed
- Instruct teams in operation of mechanical equipment including floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, snow blowers, shampooers and related environmental service equipment
- Intruct teams in terminal cleaning procedures of rooms and prepare rooms for new occupants; follows isolation procedures in isolation rooms
- Instruct teams in cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, woodwork and equipment in patient rooms, bathrooms, halls and other areas
- Instruct team in gathering and disposing of trash and waste materials using specified bags or containers.
- Instruct teams in moving furniture and other heavy objects as required
- Maintain a positive relationship with all points of contact
- Comply with all AVI policies and procedures; maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and team members
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience supervising, training, and developing team members
- Proven ability to manage budgets, operations, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain positive client and management relationships
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
