Submit your application for the opportunity below: Environmental Services Manager Job Summary and Qualifications The Manager Environmental Services leads, manages the operations and activities of the Environmental Services Department within assigned hospital and hospital department/campus locations. Manager provides consistent, high-quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations, established policies and procedures and department standards of performance are met. What you will do in this role: Leads and manages the daily operations of the Environmental Services Department assigned areas encompassing but not limited to all patient and non-patient areas of assigned square footage Manages the effective operation of all Environmental Services activities in the organization to provide for an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment through coordinating and supervising all functions of the department Responsible for assigned staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital, department and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements. Evaluates existing systems and processes, initiates change and improvements, and makes suggestions to Director Prepares or directs the preparation of department records as well as recurring and special reports and analyses indicating bed management turnaround times and so forth as required/requested Education & Experience: College Degree Preferred High School Diploma Required Minimum of three years' experience in managing environmental services Required Knowledge of hospital and health care operations Preferred Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics Preferred Benefits TriStar Horizon Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
