Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Manager 1 to join our team at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, a 533-bed pediatric facility known for its commitment to exceptional care and patient experience. In this fast-paced healthcare environment, you will help lead daily operations that ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming space for patients, families, and staff. This is a 1st shift leadership role with the expectation of flexibility to support business needs across multiple shifts. This is also a high-visibility opportunity within a showcase account, offering strong potential for career growth.

What You'll Do

  • Support 1st shift environmental services operations while maintaining flexibility to assist across shifts as needed
  • Drive patient and client satisfaction through quality service and effective issue resolution
  • Collaborate with Infection Control and hospital teams to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
  • Supervise, train, and support frontline staff to ensure strong team performance
  • Assist with managing daily operations, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in healthcare, hospitality, or EVS
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to support operations and team oversight
  • Comfortable using technology and systems; Spanish language skills are a plus
