Sodexo is seeking our OVERNIGHT 11:00pm - 8:00am shift Environmental Services - Custodial Manager 1 for the University at Buffalo in New York. Salary: $62,353.20 plus extensive benefits! Our successful candidate will have an executive presence to manage client relationship building, and lead with the professional compassion to dialogue with our valued overnight custodial employees from a very diverse population from around the world. We have a cohesive Union team, where everyone gets along well, and we have high customer satisfaction scores. Expert level computer skills to manage software like Shop Blue, Maximo, iCIMS, KRONOS and demonstrated history of success with frontline interviewing, training, and employee retention are mission critical to success in the role.
What You'll Do
- Manage a diverse team of 15+ diverse union employees
- Consistently lead the OVERNIGHT : 11:00pm - 8:00am shift
- Ensure a safe working environment through campus for all employees
- Demonstrate willingness to perform at a high level in a team environment
- Perform all trash and recycle removal at designated on and off campus sites
- Operate vehicles with safe work practices and caution while efficiently transporting waste materials
- Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas of housekeeping services, waste removal, and campus event set-up and tear down
- Operate custodial equipment including but not limited to wet - dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers and electric carts
