Job Title: Environmental Service Technician Location: Finger Lakes Region, NY Employment Type: Per Diem or Part-time. Job Summary: FLACRA is seeking detail-oriented and dependable Environmental Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in both patient and non-patient areas. The Environmental Service Technician is essential to ensuring that the organization operates smoothly while adhering to professional cleaning standards, safety protocols, and infection control procedures. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma. Valid New York State Drivers License Previous experience in building cleaning or janitorial work is preferred. Ability to understand and follow detailed but straightforward oral and written instructions. Ability to interact courteously with staff, officials, and the public. Capable of bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day. Willingness to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
