Job Title: Environmental Scientist
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Scientist who is eager to engage in a variety of projects and fieldwork assignments. This role involves providing support in fieldwork and office tasks related to site investigations and environmental inspections. You will work under the guidance of senior staff to assist with ongoing projects throughout the five boroughs, help in preparing project planning documents, evaluating data, and report preparation. The ideal candidate should be efficient in working both individually and as part of a project team, with a keen ability to track and meet contractual and regulatory deadlines.

Work Environment
This field-based position involves working on projects throughout New York City and the Five Boroughs, particularly on NYC Agency Projects. The team consists of 10-15 Environmental Scientists and Inspectors, and you will report to senior Environmental Scientists. Our workspace is located in a great office in Midtown, New York, fostering a fun culture with opportunities for social activities such as happy hours and outings. We take pride in the high caliber of work performed and offer growth opportunities to advance to supervisory roles. The organization supports continuous learning by covering costs for additional certifications needed during your first week of training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
