Environmental Resource Technician-Guymon

JOB PURPOSE

The ERM Team Member will assist the Environmental Supervisor in the daily monitoring of lagoons and lagoon levels. Assist in the maintenance of equipment associated with the lagoons such as sprinklers, pumps, and motors.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Assist coordinators in pumping procedures, including paperwork and scheduling.
• Oversee routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Apply extensive knowledge on sprinkler system and troubleshooting on irrigation motors.
• Ability to trouble shoot and knowledge on small motors.
• Setup pumping equipment, including but not limited to:
• Moving pipe
• Setting up risers
• Setting up reel rains and motors.
• Perform soil, water, and lagoon effluent sampling at company sites.
• Operate machinery for solids separation and compost process.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or 1-3 months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred.
• Ability to write simple correspondence preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred but not necessary.
• A valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
