Job Description and Duties

Environmental Program Manager I (Managerial) - State Coordinator / Executive / California Natural Resources Agency

The reporting location for this position is Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the general direction of the Deputy Director for the Governor's Wildfire and Resilience Task Force.

The Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force is hiring a State Coordinator to manage and facilitate the work of a broad range of agencies and work groups involved in the Task Force, and to oversee implementation of the Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan. The State Coordinator will also oversee the day-to-day activities of the Task Force, including the activities of more than a dozen work groups and related committees, four regional forums, the interagency Planning and Integration Team, and the Science Advisory Panel. The State Coordinator will lead these efforts in coordination with federal, state, local, tribal, and private interests and regional partnerships throughout the state.

Work Schedule:

This position is categorized as Office-Centered. The position's job duties are performed at their designated work location 50% or more of the time within a work month. The position incumbent can telework with a management approved telework agreement and schedule. Satisfactory job performance is required to maintain a teleworking agreement.
