Title: Environmental Manager - LAO

The Environmental Manager - LAO plays a critical role in supporting Olin's business objectives by providing technical environmental support for the business unit(s) supported. This position is leveraged between multiple production sites, Plaquemine, LA and St. Gabriel, LA and is intended to be the senior technical environmental subject matter expert.
Environmental Manager Position Responsibilities: Leads and coaches the Environmental Specialists/Environmental Technicians in the business unit they support on environmental regulatory application and compliance demonstration.
Establishes and maintains documented environmental operating discipline, best practice procedures, work processes and templates used in the EHS organization to drive sustainable environmental excellence and ensuring corporate memory of environmental regulatory compliance is retained.
Coordinates preparation and submission of assigned regulatory reports.
Leads Air Permit implementation and compliance. Develops air permit compliance demonstration documentation in order to ensure plant processes have been developed to comply with the permit.
Interfaces with State and Federal agencies.
Assists in reviews of all small capital and expense projects for compliance against the plant's permits and against existing regulatory requirements. Represents the site during compliance audits.
Environmental Manager Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Supply Chain & Logistics, or related field; Masters Degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant environmental experience in manufacturing, chemical, or related industry.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
Adaptable and collaborative, with strong prioritization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Drivers license.
