You will work across departments to uphold our commitment to protecting people and the planet by fostering a culture of Zero Harm.This is an on‑site position in Livermore, CA and will report to the Head of EHS.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILLImplement and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations and company standardsDevelop and lead assessments and hazard analysis to identify EHS operational risks, coordinate and act as the facility representative for regulatory and third‑party audits and assessmentsRespond to incidents and lead investigations, root cause analysis and manage implementation and maintenance of corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve EHS performanceWork across functional areas to develop and implement corrective actions and controls to reduce and/or eliminate EHS risksConduct research and write policies, work instructions, training materials and other technical documentsSupport EHS education for employees across all functional areas by developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive training programs to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and build EHS competency throughout the organizationManage environmental compliance, ensuring that all required inspections, sampling and reporting are completed in accordance with regulatory requirementsDevelop and lead employee events and activities to engage the workforce and promote cultural growthCoordinate and manage emergency response including organizing and conducting tabletop exercises, evacuation drills and related activitiesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, risk management, organizational management, business or similar fieldMinimum of 8 years of progressive experience in EHS, human resources, risk or operations management within manufacturing, distribution, or comparable industrial environmentsDemonstrate a strong analytical mindset with a decisive, action‑oriented approachPossess advanced expertise in researching, interpreting, and applying regulatory standardsExhibit highly developed technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear, precise documentationEffectively influence outcomes by fostering collaboration, building trust, and aligning stakeholdersTake full ownership of responsibilities, operating proactively while leveraging managerial guidance as neededWORK ENVIRONMENTAbility to lift 35 lbs.Frequent movement between work areas, including outdoor and indoor environments with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayOccasional bending, kneeling, twisting or stoopingThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
