Our Client is looking for a Safety Engineer to join their Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team at a manufacturing facility in Welcome, NC .This is a great opportunity to work alongside plant leadership, influence site-wide safety initiatives, and make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.What You'll Do Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities.Investigate workplace incidents, perform root cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions.Partner with leadership to strengthen the site's safety culture and drive continuous improvement.Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance initiatives.Assist with environmental permitting and regulatory documentation.Track EHS metrics and help identify safety trends and improvement opportunities.Participate in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and 5S initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.2+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field.Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.Experience with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), incident investigations, and root cause analysis.Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred Qualifications Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory audits.Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or 5S programs.Experience participating in safety committees or driving site-wide EHS initiatives.If you're looking for an opportunity where your work directly improves employee safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
