Compensation

Rate: $52-$56/hr

Project Scope

This position provides full-time EHS oversight for an active manufacturing facility in Austin, TX. The EHS Manager will be responsible for managing site-level safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. The role requires hands-on safety leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work independently while partnering with site leadership to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.


Qualifications

OSHA 511 required
7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices
Experience managing site-level safety programs independently

Ability to work independently in an active manufacturing environment
Strong documentation, reporting, and audit capabilities
Effective communication with site leadership and workforce
Proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily EHS operations at a manufacturing facility
  • Enforce OSHA compliance and site-specific safety programs
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Deliver safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation and compliance records
  • Partner with operations and management to drive continuous safety improvement
