We are the proven leader in the fan and ventilation market, providing innovative and energy efficient solutions to our business partners and customers.The Safety Coordinator supports the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental (EHS) programs within a manufacturing environment. In absence of the EHS Manager will serve as back‑up. This role ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, reduces workplace risks associated with production operations, and promotes a strong safety culture on the shop floor.Your main responsibilities will be:Leads by example in regards to site safetyMaintains and updates safety boardsExperience in providing training to all levels; assist with New Hire Safety trainingLead or facilate annual trainings as requiredEnsures site employees are up to date on safety training needsLeads thorough new hire safety walkthroughsTraining experience related to Forklift, LOTO, General SafetyFire extinguisher checks and trainingCoordinates facility safety inspectionsScheduling, tracking and reporting on inspectionsEnsures the facility is OSHA compliantFollowing health and safety manualsImplement periodic lock out tag‑out program auditsCollect near miss, hazardous conditions and safety observations and creates report on this dataEnsure that site management follows through to ensure the situation is promptly addressed and corrective actions are developed, integrated and are sufficient to prevent future injury or illnessAccident reporting including follow up and intermediary actions and compile report for HRCreates and maintains reports on all health and safety activitiesPrepares and updates required safety plansOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Ability to sit for entirety of shift and work on computer.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to lift, bend, stoop and walk the production floor.Flexibility to work overtime as requested.Occasional off‑shift or weekend support may be requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to focus on relevant work for entirety of shift.Authorized to work for any employer in the United StatesAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & HealthOSHA 30 General Industry certification (preferred)ASP (Associate Safety Professional) Preferred or working towards certificationFirst Aide/CPR/AED CertificationA person in this capacity will typically be day shift, however, may be requested to assist on other shifts as needed.Available to address safety concerns/incidents on off‑shiftsKnowledge of environmental procedures and standardsHazardous waste training and/or DOT Hazardous Material Training (Preferred)Proven knowledge of OSHA regulationsAbility to maintain composure in challenging situationsWe offer:Tuition Reimbursement Program- We encourage team members to continue their education to support their current or future work.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental and Vision options.Company‑paid Life insurance, Short and Long‑Term Disability insurance, and Parental leave.401(k) retirement account with a generous company matchPhenomenal work life balance offering twenty (20) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year.Holidays totaling eleven days (11) per calendar year including a floating holiday of employee's choice.Career advancement and training opportunitiesWe welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.#J-18808-Ljbffr
