Join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry as a Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor. This role is a critical part of our commitment to ensuring that our operations and employees are safe and healthy. You will be responsible for overseeing all safety and health protocols, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for monitoring safety metrics and KPIs, managing PPE supplies, and handling incident reports. If you are passionate about safety, have a keen eye for detail, and have a proven track record in a manufacturing safety role, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and implement safety and health programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA.
2. Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Monitor safety metrics and KPIs, and provide regular reports to management.
4. Manage the monthly usage and spending of PPE supplies, ensuring adequate stock and cost-efficiency.
5. Develop and implement safety training programs for all employees.
6. Handle incident reports, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with management and employees to create a culture of safety within the organization.
8. Oversee workman's compensation claims, ensuring they are handled promptly and appropriately.
9. Keep abreast of emerging safety trends and legislation that may impact the organization.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing safety role.
3. Certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
4. Proven experience with food safety, OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and incident reporting.
5. Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor safety metrics and KPIs.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and guide employees on safety protocols.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage PPE supplies and control costs.
9. Experience with workman's compensation claims.
10. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
