    Environmental Health and Safety ManagerLos AngelesReferral Bonus: $3,000Full-Time RegularPosition Overview We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across multiple Senior Care communities in California. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies and programs to meet federal, state, and local Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations, including company Workplace Safety (WPS) policies. The position supervises other EH&S Administrators within the organization.Key Responsibilities Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on WPS matters and resolve community EH&S issues.Identify and assess hazards and risks; develop best practices for hazard management and communicate workplace trends.Prepare analysis and reports on environmental health and safety status.Train employees on safety guidelines, evaluate effectiveness, and promote workplace safety and compliance.Collaborate across departments to address EH&S and workplace issues; escalate as necessary; communicate progress.Conduct safety inspections, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation.Investigate incidents and near misses; report findings; ensure corrective measures are taken.Evaluate hazard management systems and recommend improvements to prevent injuries.Address ergonomic issues and suggest corrective actions.Travel up to 75% of the time.Perform additional duties as assigned.Benefits The company offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, a company car, a stable work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
