Site Supervisor
Our client is looking for a Site Supervisor to lead their construction services in for multiple projects throughout the South Jersey area. Candidates need to have knowledge of petroleum equipment system installations, demolition and remediation, concrete, and masonry.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in daily field construction activities including excavation, trenching, piping installation, tank setting and removal, equipment installation, and concrete work
- Supervise, direct, and mentor field personnel and subcontractors
- Interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical plans to execute the project scope effectively
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors as required
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Conduct daily safety meetings and complete Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Maintain daily field reports, time tracking, and project documentation
- Manage site logistics, equipment utilization, and material coordination
- Identify and communicate field changes, unforeseen conditions, and potential cost impacts
Requirements:
- 2+ years of field experience working with petroleum equipment systems
- Experience with Underground/Aboveground Storage Tank System (UST/AST) Installation/Removal/Upgrade
- Tank piping systems, tank monitoring, and fuel management experience
- Excavation, Demolition, Remediation experience
- 40-hour OSHA certification is preferred
- NJ, PA, DE tank certifications are preferred
- Local travel required (Monday-Friday) - 50%
- U.S citizen/legally authorized to work in the United States
