Position Summary: The Environmental Compliance and Wastewater Service Level Professional is responsible for supporting and implementing liquid waste management, water quality management, and other environmental related programs and projects. The position supports a proactive well balanced approach of service quality, service delivery and cost management to execute related services. The position is also responsible to ensure Wawa's compliance with all Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations as assigned by the Environmental Manager. This entails independently performing assigned coordination of projects and management of environmental programs at all operating stores and those under construction to confirm compliance with environmental standards, construction specifications, and company policies and procedures. This position supports and administers environmental programs for the corporation and store associates. Manages specific vendors associated with the environmental compliance for the company. Assists the Environmental Manager with contaminated site clean-ups and other programs as required. Works cross-functionally with both internal departments and external vendors to ensure the operational readiness and environmental compliance of our operating fuel stores and non-fuel stores under construction.
