Job Title: Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist I
Location: Houston Region
Pay Rate: $39.33/hr, W 2
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Work Mode: 90% travel to customer sites, 1 day working remote (from home)
The selected individual will be expected to travel from site to site frequently, sometimes a couple sites a day, other times, one site for a few days. It will all be based on the activities and needs. They will not start at the same location each day. They will follow the Client's Policies and use certified rental vehicles.
Summary:
- Provide day-to-day EHS support for service activities and projects.
- Support and monitor Projects and Services operations to ensure completion of EHS Plans.
- Conduct audits of the projects and service teams at customer sites to ensure compliance with policies/procedures.
- Provide immediate direct support to field service employees at customer sites.
- Utilize knowledge, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Interface with other EHS Team members for support and guidance.
- Develop strong working relationships with operational teams.
- Coordinate incident investigation and ensure documentation and reporting as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Major in Health & Safety preferred) or a high school diploma with relevant experience & accredited EHS Safety Training Courses.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience supporting EHS initiatives.
- Experience in field-based EHS protocols.
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 90%.

- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Experience in EHS program development, implementation, and leadership, especially in sectors like electric power, refining, offshore, or similar industrial sectors.
