Core Functions
- Perform all assigned cleaning tasks professionally, upholding the integrity of the Environmental Services Department.
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and public spaces.
- Complete work assignments efficiently and within designated timeframes.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and supplies in accordance with safety and procedural guidelines.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly and safely.
- Adhere to patient confidentiality protocols at all times.
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors when requested.
- Introduce self to patients, families, and visitors to foster a welcoming environment.
- Identify and report safety hazards promptly.
- Safely transport trash and hazardous waste to designated disposal areas.
- Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
- Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and isolation protocols.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain established quality standards in all cleaning activities.
- Work assigned shifts, including day, evening, or night, as scheduled.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Observe and follow all safety precautions consistently.

- Adhere to dress code; maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Wear proper identification while on duty and accurately use the timekeeping system.
- Report to work on time and complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.

Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- 1–3 months related working experience preferred
