About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Envelope Converting Specialist to join our high-performance production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Adjusters troubleshoot and operate Winkler+Dnnebier (WandD) envelope converting machines to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. The Specialist is also responsible for maintenance and repair of the equipment to ensure optimal throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor WandD envelope converting machines (627, 628, 410).
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure product quality by making real-time adjustments and conducting inspections.
- Maintain accurate production logs and machine performance records.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience operating WandD envelope converting equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-volume print or packaging environments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
