If you would like to work with a highly skilled workforce to achieve unique and challenging goals that critically impact our environment and community, this is your chance to be a part of our legacy!Our Environmental Protection Technical Services team is seeking a dynamic Activity Manager with a desire to work hard and take on the role of a technical advisor and be a contributing member of a great team.A day in the life of an Activity Manager includes, but is not limited to:* Provide technical support to project management and staff to ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, contract requirements, and company policies.* Monitor and conduct analysis on changing regulatory requirements to influence the development and implementation of environmental policy, procedures, and standards.* Serve as mentor, providing technical support to junior environmental staff and operations personnel.* Routinely interface with all levels of management and staff regarding environmental regulatory requirement identification, analysis, interpretation, and implementation to develop innovative and compliant solutions. Interfaces require good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.* Coordinate site-wide regulatory environmental reports.* Interface with Federal/State regulators and DOE on resolution of complex environmental issues.* Provide support to line management to ensure contract and regulatory requirements are implemented and DOE objectives and expectations are achieved.* Prepare and/or review environmental documentation, environmental permit applications, modifications, and other regulatory documents.* Independently evaluate, select, and apply techniques, procedures, and criteria to solve a variety of complex problems.* Perform Single Point of Contact (SPOC) duties during environmental events on a rotating schedule.* Coordinate with other CPCCo programs to address project and company-wide environmental issues and concerns.Basic QualificationsCareer Grade 20: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 8 or more years of relevant experienceSenior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experienceThe higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.Desired Qualifications* BA/BS Degree in Environmental Science, Biological/Physical Sciences, Geology, Hydrology, Geosciences, Engineering or related fields.* Demonstrable working knowledge of and familiarity with associated environmental statutes and regulations (e.g., Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Clean Air Act (CAA)).* Must be experienced with and capable of developing innovative and compliant solutions to complex environmental issues.Compensation & BenefitsIn accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):Career Level Grade 20: $114,700 - $183,450Senior Level Grade 21: $126,200 - $202,000In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.CPCCo's generous benefits package offers medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) employer match and paid time off.
