Entry Level Gas Utility Technician

About the Role
American Energy Resources is hiring entry-level Gas Utility Technicians. This role provides hands-on training in gas meter installation and field utility work.
No prior experience is required. We train individuals who demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Learn to install and replace gas meters.
- Assist experienced technicians in the field.
- Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site organization.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s license is required for job-related travel.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including physical outdoor work throughout the duration of the shift.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
Training & Pay
- Paid training starting at $20.00 per hour.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours.
- Advancement opportunities based on performance.
