Production Support Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Support Specialist to help advance our products and optimize our production
processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to problem-solve various production
and engineering issues. You will collaborate with operators and management in supporting the training of
production team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Be the Boots on the Ground, On the Floor presence to support all production needs.
- Ability to understand engineering prints.
- Familiar with using engineering tools such as a micrometer and caliper.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, develop, and implement engineering improvement
projects.
- Ensure installations, processes, and applications align with customer requirements as well as quality,
safety, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in training new and existing production team members with production processes
- Assist with Improving production processes, procedures, and workflows.
- Assist the Safety team with Ergonomic Improvements for the Production team
- Provide ongoing technical support to production personnel.
- Assisting with Engineer Change Requests to support our Production team.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 2–4 years of Trailer/RV technical experience in a production engineering or problem-solving role.
- Must have a Continuous Improvement and value-stream mindset
- Engineering or Technical degree, or related discipline (preferred).
- Familiar with tools such as (SolidWorks/ AutoCAD).
