If you enjoy precision, pattern-spotting, and bringing order to data, this role is for you. As an Entry-Level Metrology & Quality Control Technician, you’ll help ensure materials, in-process builds, and finished medical devices meet specs and customer expectations.
Your impact
- Verify parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; confirm equipment calibration before every use.
- Complete visual, dimensional, and functional checks against drawings and basic schematics.
- Log inspection outcomes, highlight defects or nonconformances, and support corrective actions under guidance.
- Maintain orderly inspection files that support traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with production to surface improvement opportunities and contribute to quality initiatives.
- Build your inspection toolkit through routine training on quality systems and techniques.
Must-haves
- High School diploma or GED.
- Solid math skills with fractions/decimals in both imperial and metric units.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior manufacturing or assembly exposure (helpful, not required).
Core capabilities
- Introductory metrology skills; comfort with calipers, micrometers, and common gauges.
- Detail orientation; ability to spot and communicate defects clearly.
- Documentation discipline and strong organization in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Microsoft Office proficiency with accurate, repeatable data entry.
- Foundational blueprint/schematic reading.

Physical demands & environment
Frequent walking; manual dexterity for measurements; reaching; and regular communication with the team. At times you may sit, climb/balance, or stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl. Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Visual demands include close, distance, and peripheral vision with focus adjustment.
