Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Entry Level Scientific Specialist to join their team. As an Entry Level Scientific Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Entry Level Scientific Specialist 

Location:Pearl River, NY

Pay Range: DOE 

What's the Job?

  • Adhere to production schedules, update schedule boards, and communicate daily release schedules with team members.
  • Assist production teams with batch paperwork and perform system transactions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Apply analytical tools to reduce cycle times and optimize production scheduling processes.
  • Monitor and communicate production metrics to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all government and company regulatory requirements, including verifying batch reconciliation and investigating discrepancies.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with six years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with four years of experience.
  • Strong basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Background in biology, chemistry, or related science disciplines.
  • Must have 20/20 vision (with or without corrected lenses).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, writing scientific procedures, and using manufacturing operating systems is a plus.
