Responsibilities
- Primarily over the phone through a mixture of outbound and inbound calls, learn to quickly establish rapport with and determine the best sales strategy to utilize with warm leads seeking insurance quotes.
- Provide service work for existing clients, utilizing these interactions as cross-selling opportunities.
- Additional new business marketing opportunities are available: event marketing referral networking, additional outbound dialing, SEO/online advertisements.
- Efficiently utilize modern CRM's, quoting systems, policy management systems, etc in the fulfillment of these responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Previous sales, phone sales, or insurance sales experience preferred.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Must have ability to multi-task.
