Description
-Will be supporting Back Up Care team (classified as Customer Care Specialist)
-Work with a number of client companies (these are employees of the clients that they partner with)
-Will be taking inbound calls from employees at their client and/or placing outbound calls to internal networks (child care centers or in home option) to help find a solution while they continue to work their normal day (will not be doing both / these two teams do not communicate except for internal notes in CRM)
-If someone works at Microsoft and has a regular child care provider that isn't going to make it on a given day (i.e. facility closed for an event, babysitter on vacation/sick, etc.), they will reach out to Bright Horizons to find a solution for child care
-The goal is to have the employee still be able to go to work and earn their pay check/hours for that day

MUST HAVE
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Minimum 1-year customer service, help-desk, and/or call center background
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to document content of phone

-Exceptional organizational and time management skills, in addition to, the ability to work closely
with other team members and departments
-Typing proficiencies of 35 wpm/and above average data entry skills preferred
-Proficient in basic Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills (copy, paste, etc.)
-Ability and willingness to learn and gain proficiency in new software systems
-Ability to determine needs of the caller and obtain necessary information without following a

We're hiring Customer Care Specialists to support the BackUp Care Team, assisting employees from wellknown client companies when their regular childcare plans unexpectedly fall through. Your work helps parents stay focused at work-while you provide calm, solutionsbased support over the phone.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Take inbound calls from employees of client companies seeking backup childcare solutions
  • Make outbound calls to approved childcare centers or inhome care networks to locate available options
  • Assess each caller's needs and gather key information without relying on a scripted process
  • Accurately document call details and outcomes in CRM systems for internal visibility
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication while guiding callers to workable solutions
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with your team through shared systems and notes
  • Help ensure employees can continue their workday without losing pay or productivity due to childcare disruptions

Schedule

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
