Jobot is working with a manufacturer based in Clearwater seeking a Buyer. This is a contract position with the possibility of turning permanent for the right candidate.

Please note, this opportunity could be turned into a permanent job for the right candidate.

Job Details

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers to procure materials at the lowest total cost while meeting quality, reliability, and delivery requirements
  • Analyze supplier quotations, select vendors, enter purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules
  • Monitor open purchase orders and proactively expedite deliveries as needed
  • Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and performance issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal customers and supplier partners
  • Analyze data and prepare reports; provide recommendations related to inventory levels, safety stock, and forecast consumption

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
