Enterprise PMO Manager
Location: Remote within the United States, with periodic onsite presence as needed
Type: Contract?to?Hire (6–12 months)
Compensation: $75–$80/hour, with flexibility based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise PMO Manager to support and lead large?scale, enterprise?wide IT initiatives. This role operates within a centralized IT function and partners closely with business and technology leaders across multiple divisions. The position offers high visibility, broad exposure, and the opportunity to help shape and mature enterprise?level program governance.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of enterprise IT programs and initiatives
  • Own program budgets, timelines, resourcing, and delivery outcomes
  • Establish and maintain PMO governance, standards, and best practices
  • Deliver clear, executive?level communication, reporting, and insights
  • Coordinate work across multiple divisions, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Partner with third?party system integrators and implementation partners
  • Support hybrid delivery environments, including Waterfall and Agile
  • Ensure organized, consistent project documentation and reporting structures
  • Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Senior?level Enterprise IT Project or Program Manager with PMO experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and make sound, timely decisions
  • Highly organized, process?driven, and detail?oriented
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt communication for diverse audiences
  • Comfortable influencing across teams without direct authority
  • Experience supporting complex, multi?year initiatives preferred
  • Exposure to manufacturing or operational environments is a plus, but not required
 
Qualifications
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Project
  • Azure DevOps or similar project delivery tools
  • Demonstrated experience managing third?party vendors and system integrators
 
Work Environment & Travel
  • Remote?based role with onsite presence required as needed
  • Travel estimated at 30%–50%, depending on project phase and business needs
