Ready to turn "lead" into leadership?

Imagine walking onto a site in the Milwaukee metro, blueprint in hand. You shaped the design, mapped the network, and now your crew looks to you to bring it to life. By week’s end, Software House and Genetec are talking to each other, false alarms are tamed, and the client signs off on a seamless, enterprise-grade security ecosystem. That’s a typical win at Armorstack’s CITADEL division.

Your Mission

Own integrated low-voltage security projects from kickoff to commissioning across Southeast Wisconsin—blending technical mastery with field leadership.

How You’ll Make It Happen

  1. Engineer the blueprint: Analyze bids; produce diagrams, specs, and network topologies; plan integrations across access control, video, intrusion, fire, and structured cabling.
  2. Program the core: Configure and customize enterprise platforms—Software House, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Notifier, Edwards—covering logic, access levels, alarm flows, and UI.
  3. Lead the build: Direct a 3–5 tech crew; align tasks with schedule and budget; uphold safety and code; interface with GCs, PMs, and stakeholders.
  4. Commission for confidence: Pull/terminate/test copper and fiber to TIA/EIA and BICSI standards; run point-to-point and failover scenarios; validate integrations; deliver as-builts, test reports, and O&M docs.

What It Takes

  • 5+ years in commercial/industrial low-voltage spanning design, programming, installation, and commissioning.
  • Depth in at least two: Software House, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Notifier, Edwards.
  • Documented experience leading or mentoring field teams.
  • Know your standards: TIA/EIA-568, BICSI; and your networks: TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE.
  • Comfort with test instruments (e.g., Fluke) and codes: NEC Article 725, NFPA 72, IBC.
  • OSHA 10/30 (or willingness to obtain), ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and flex for occasional off-hours commissioning.

Bonus Points

  • NICET I/II, BICSI Installer 2/Technician, OEM certifications.
  • Scissor/boom lift operator cards.
  • Experience with PM software.
  • Associate degree or higher.

What You’ll Gain

  • $75,000 – $90,000 base (more possible for standout programming/leadership).
  • Company vehicle for work use.
  • Health, dental, vision; 401(k).
  • 100% employer-paid certifications (NICET, BICSI, OSHA, manufacturer training, conferences).
  • Laptop and phone provided; bring your favorite tools.
  • OT opportunities on larger projects; lodging/per diem for Midwest travel; strong professional development support.

Where You’ll Operate

Field-centric across Southeast Wisconsin (Milwaukee metro and surrounding areas) with periodic Midwest travel. Expect mechanical rooms, above-ceiling paths, and outdoor work—safety first, always.
