About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing data architecture for a hospital and
healthcare ecosystem. This role is critical in driving enterprise data strategy, enabling clinical and operational insights, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement enterprise-wide data architecture strategy aligned with business and clinical goals
Design and manage data models, data lakes, and data warehouses using Microsoft technologies
Lead architecture for EHR/EMR, patient data, claims, and clinical systems integration
Build scalable solutions using Azure Data Services (ADF, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks)
Ensure data governance, data quality, security, and compliance (HIPAA standards)
Collaborate with stakeholders, clinicians, and IT teams to enable data-driven decision-making
Establish best practices for data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real-time processing
Drive modernization from legacy systems to cloud-based architectures
Mentor engineering teams and provide architectural leadership
Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in data/enterprise architecture
Strong expertise in Microsoft stack: Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Synapse, ADF
Proven experience designing enterprise data platforms and large-scale solutions
Hands-on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and big data technologies
Experience in healthcare/hospital systems (EHR/EMR required)
Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and HIPAA compliance
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages
Experience with cloud architecture and migration strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Azure certifications (Data Architect / Solutions Architect)
Experience with HL7, FHIR interoperability standards
Exposure to AI/ML in healthcare analytics
