Solution Architect with 15+ years of experience in various application technologies, Database technologies and IT infrastructure .

Experience with UML modelling using Microsoft Visio to create architecture design with an understanding / proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc)

Strong understanding of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS services, AVS - vmc on Azure) including compute, storage, networking and security.

Proficiency in understanding existing IT infrastructure and application architecture and identify compliance gaps vis-a-vis customer IT standards.

Proficiency in Infrastructure design principles , patterns and architectures.

Strong understanding of Server operating systems ( Windows, Linux, etc), Virtualization ,Storage systems, Networking protocols and technologies ( TCP/IP, DNS, etc), Security principles, Authentication and authorization mechanism, compliance and risk management.

Ability to design application architectures that align with Customer standards, IT policies, business goals and objectives by collaborating with Application teams and other stake holders.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with good communication and analytical skills.

• Document standardised design patterns
• Create designs in conjunction with application teams, following detailed discovery and analysis
• Undertake technical validation of non-standard designs or infrastructure environments
• Designs/architects non-standardised technology solutions, as required by programme
• Govern design approvals prior to execution

Salary Range- $100,000-$110,000 a year
