Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Continuing Education, the Enrollment and Corporate Support Specialist is responsible for providing exemplary services for prospective, new, and current continuing education students. The Enrollment and Corporate Support Specialist utilizes resources to deliver a high-quality student experience for those inquiring by phone, online, and in person about Continuing Education programs and services. The Specialist is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing client relations, following up with clients, and coordinating apprenticeship programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greets and assists applicants, students, and visitors in the Continuing Education Department. Responds in a timely and accurate manner to questions regarding the status of applications, continuing education enrollment process, continuing education courses, general College services, and other services and information. Coordinate continuing education enrollment for all public courses, advising students on course requirements, and registering students. Assist with the implementation and utilization of technology solutions for continuing education application, registration, payment, and related processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned business and industry clients. Coordinate routine/non-customized corporate training and corporate open enrollment courses. In collaboration with the Solution Advisor, assist with customized training opportunities.
  • Provide coordination in the development and implementation of apprenticeship programs that meet employer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal customers by providing appropriate and timely information that will ensure team members are able to design and deliver training projects to meet customer expectations. Provide support to ensure all courses are ready for execution and all post-training requirements are met.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and maintain communication through departmental meetings, sales meetings, account meetings, and one on one meetings. In coordination with the Office of Recruitment, assists with community-based recruiting. Participate in campus-wide activities and committees and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

Work experience in higher education is preferred.
