The position is for a qualified English/ELA Teacher with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a valid New Jersey Department of Education Teacher of English Certificate, CE, or CEAS. Preferred candidates have AP language/literature experience.
Responsibilities include planning lessons tailored to students' needs, evaluating progress, and maintaining student behavior and classroom management. The role involves instructing students in communication and citizenship, developing instructional plans, selecting materials, and organizing class time.
The teacher will supervise activities, coordinate with aides and staff, communicate with parents and colleagues, and support student well-being. They will also participate in professional development, manage records, and promote student activities.
Reports to the Principal. Salary ranges from $62,600 to $70,110, for the employment period from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
