Job Description ---------------
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginias capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is seeking adjunct instructors to teach English. Salary is commensurate with the experience of the applicant in graduate education in the field related to full-time occupational employment and full-time equivalent teaching.
Special Assignments ------------------
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSAs Required Qualifications -----------------------------
Masters degree in English or the Masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in English. Additional Considerations -------------------------
Community college teaching experience. Experience with online teaching, including online synchronous classes. Availability to teach on-campus classes. Experience with Canvas and Zoom. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to place a strong emphasis on student-centered learning and provide an innovative e-learning experience. Demonated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
