E-Logic is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Technician VI to support advanced shipboard HM&E and IC Data Network systems for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This position focuses heavily on DDG-51 class destroyer systems and the AN/USQ-82(V) family of networks supporting mission-critical shipboard communications and control infrastructure. This role will be 4 days on site and 1 day remote.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repair of shipboard HM&E systems and networks.
Support USQ-82(V) network systems aboard DDG-51 class ships.
Assist with integration, installation, checkout, and verification testing of network upgrades and modifications.
Analyze engineering drawings, system documentation, and technical specifications.
Support development of test requirements, procedures, and evaluation activities.
Participate in land-based engineering site support, shipboard modernization, and fleet sustainment operations.
Support network configuration updates, equipment installations, and system integration efforts.
Assist with engineering change proposal (ECP) testing and implementation activities.
Provide technical expertise during operational troubleshooting and modernization availabilities.
Support lifecycle maintenance and technical documentation activities.
Required Qualifications
Secret Clearance is mandatory.
High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational School Diploma.
Technical School Diploma required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems or shipboard HM&E systems/networks.
Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting AN/USQ-82(V) systems aboard DDG-51 class U.S. Navy ships.
Experience evaluating technical drawings, test procedures, and system modifications.
Ability to independently perform complex technical assignments and project support activities.
Strong knowledge of shipboard network systems and Navy operational environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Navy experience in EM, ET, IC, or IT specialties.
Experience supporting shipboard modernization and fleet sustainment activities.
Familiarity with RMF, cybersecurity, and network integration activities.
