Engineering Technician

Base pay range$19.78/hr - $24.73/hrJob Title: Engineering TechnicianDuration: 12 monthsShift/Hours: M-F | 8 – 5 PM | 40 hours/weekPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesHelps set up and maintain benches, testers, and other equipment. Transports, installs, upgrades, and configures equipment and components.Performs basic measurements following SOP, contributes to documentation of test results, and maintains malfunction records.Helps conduct basic troubleshooting and perform basic repair work, rework, removal, and adjustments to equipment as necessary with individuals inside own team.Helps set up test equipment using hand tools or automatic test methods to perform routine tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.Executes manual and automated test plans as defined and reproduces and debugs routine issues.Level of ResponsibilityDecision‑making affects direct area of work and/or work group.Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.Tasks consist of a limited number of steps which can be referenced using directions or manuals.Required Years of Experience1+ year of experience with general computer skills and Microsoft applications.1+ year of experience in Semiconductor or related industry.Use soldering irons and hand tools, such as screw drivers, pliers.Required EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent.Top 5 SkillsProficiency with Hand‑ToolsHand‑solderingProficient with PC operation and MS‑OfficeAble to communicate progress and issues with engineering stakeholders.Ability to multi‑task and change priority.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeContractIndustriesSemiconductor ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at SPECTRAFORCE by 2xGet notified about new Engineering Technician jobs in San Diego, CA .#J-18808-Ljbffr
