E-Logic is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to provide technical support for mission-critical Interior Communications (IC) Data Networks and shipboard systems supporting the he Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This role supports installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, integration, and lifecycle sustainment activities for shipboard electronic systems and networks. This role will be 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Key Responsibilities
Perform operation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of shipboard electronic systems and networks.
Assist with network integration, installation, checkout, and verification testing activities.
Support shipboard modernization efforts, engineering change proposals (ECPs), and system upgrades.
Analyze drawings, technical documentation, and equipment specifications to determine design adequacy and testing requirements.
Assist in development and execution of test procedures and system evaluations.
Troubleshoot network equipment, interface cabling, and associated user systems.
Support lifecycle maintenance activities for HM&E and navigation-related networks.
Provide technical assistance during land-based and shipboard testing activities.
Support system audits, verification and validation testing, and fleet sustainment initiatives.
Assist with training and familiarization support for shipboard personnel.
Required Qualifications
Secret Clearance is mandatory.
High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational School Diploma.
Technical School Diploma OR six (6) years of Navy experience with C-school training in an EM, ET, IC, or IT specialty.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems or shipboard electronic systems/networks.
Experience reviewing technical drawings and equipment documentation.
Ability to support complex technical assignments and testing activities.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Navy shipboard systems or HM&E networks.
Familiarity with DDG-51 class systems and ship modernization activities.
Experience supporting fleet technical assistance and shipboard troubleshooting.
