Key Responsibilities:
Providing technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks.
Developing and recommending procedures and methods, and preparing technical reports and documentation.
Performing technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommending corrective actions.
Assisting with materials characterization and analysis using equipment such as DSC, FTIR, SEM/EDX, and MicroCT.
Conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify issues and implement solutions.
Documenting findings and maintaining detailed technical reports for process improvements.
Participating in product testing and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Supporting engineers in designing experiments and developing testing protocols.
Monitoring and evaluating data to inform technical decisions and process optimizations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a technical or engineering support role.
Proficiency in materials characterization techniques such as DSC, FTIR, SEM/EDX, optical microscopy, or MicroCT.
Experience working with medical devices or medical-grade polymers and metals
Familiarity with analytical equipment specific to medical materials testing
A technical degree (e.g., associates degree) or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field
