Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing and process industries, is seeking a Engineering Technician IV to join their team. As a Engineering Technician IV, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations supporting production, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician IV

Location: Fremont, California

Pay Range: $38 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Safely execute chemical manufacturing operations following established procedures and safety protocols
• Complete batch records accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with R&D runs and support scale-up or pilot production activities
• Participate in safety inspections, audits, and EHS improvement initiatives
• Support facility utilities monitoring and participate in continuous improvement projects

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing, or regulated production environment
• Experience following SOPs, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting routine maintenance
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and operate production equipment
• Strong documentation skills and knowledge of process parameters such as temperature, flow, and pressure
