This is an opportunity to work in the Cell Qualification and R&D group, which is responsible for the testing and qualification of Tesla's next-generation Li-ion battery cells and development of new cell test methods. This candidate's primary role will be laboratory test execution, life-cycle characterization, and mechanical testing. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding attention to detail, interest in developing inspection skills, and aptitude for electrical and mechanical test methods, which are all required to identify subtle issues that could impact Tesla's battery cell performance. The candidate will work alongside a diverse team of Engineers and Technicians to advance technology that provides sustainable transportation, energy storage and generation. This individual must demonstrate the desire to drive continuous internal process improvement methods through critical thinking skills.
