is currently seeking an Engineering Technician 3 for our client Northrop Grumman at location Gilbert, Arizona, United States Onsite.

Job Description ---------------

The Engineering Technician will support the Integration & Test I&T of spacecraft by performing a variety of duties assisting engineers in mechanical and electromechanical designs, fabrication, testing, modification, and assembly. Duties include leading test configuration setups, setting up, troubleshooting, repairing Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), and assisting in cable design and test configuration development. This role requires navigating and executing test scripts in Maestro and AstroRT environments, verifying completion of testing events and documentation, and supporting critical hazardous operations.

The ideal candidate will work flexible rotational shifts, have hands-on aerospace equipment experience, and be able to perform repetitive tasks and lift objects up to 50 pounds while adhering to clean room and spacecraft handling protocols.

Skills and Experience ---------------------

### Required Skills

• High School Diploma or technical training equivalent and 4-6 years of related experience as a Mechanical or Manufacturing Technician
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Hands-on experience with aerospace equipment, harness build, and soldering
• Knowledge of electrical measurements (AC, DC, resistance, and troubleshooting techniques)
• Understanding of clean room operations and spacecraft handling protocols
• Ability to lift and position objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible rotational shifts, including 2nd, 3rd shift, weekends, and overtime
• Ability to wear and perform work in a N95 or higher respirator
• Working knowledge of standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.)
• Preferred working knowledge of standard design components, filters, couplers, amplifiers
• Preferred familiarity with cryogenic test systems, dilution refrigeration, cryo-coolers, ADR
