General Purpose:

Facilitates Engineering activities by assembling and organizing data, analyzing information, and recommending action. Assists with multiple complex construction projects by facilitating internal/external process requirements. Monitor project progress and follow-up as needed. Support Gas Supply and Engineering tasks.

Position Essential Functions:
o Manage large data sets, evaluate data and research data irregularities. Resolve problems independently and engages others as needed. Recommend changes to pipeline system to facilitate Compliance Inspections. Follow Federal guidelines while managing compliance work and meeting target dates. Devise methods to organize and present information used to evaluate and analyze Engineering needs.
o Provide primary support
o Serves as coordinator in monitoring the progress of compliance work/projects; incorporates information from other departments in determining project status. Research records for abandonment and as-built information. Review completed construction and compliance documentation for accuracy. Assures records are appropriately stored and meet retention requirements.
o Monitor SAP for inspection compliance and provide ad hoc reports, facilitate any necessary inspection requirements with stakeholders.
o Performs administrative duties related to contracts, regulatory inspections, regulatory filings, annual reporting, internal and external reports.
o Review current workflow and processes to look for opportunities to streamline, create bugs or resolve issues.
o Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and attention to detail in performance of job tasks.

Essential Function Requirements:
• Two-year college degree in a related technical discipline or professional certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in project management, engineering support or utility operations.
• Knowledge and understanding of natural gas piping systems.
• Knowledge of engineering records, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to understand and apply information from maps.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and across department areas.
• Proven computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
• Ability to meet deadlines including effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and project management skills including the ability to identify needs, evaluate and present results.
