Job Title: Engineering Prototype Technician Location: San Jose, CA 95138
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay range: $38.00 to $45.00 per hours on W2
Job Summary:
We are recruiting an Engineering Prototype Technician for general mechanical prototype support with a focus on cable harness assembly for the Mechanical Engineering Team at Nextest, Teradyne Memory Business Unit.
The technician will be responsible for assembling, testing and repairing cable harness prototypes, and well as general assistance with memory test equipment/fixture/tester.
Experience with harness assembly techniques, and familiarity with crimping tools and wire stripping methods.
Experience with safety practices around electricity and electrical components.
Experience with building mechanical prototypes.
Experience with small hand tools/Power Tools. (screwdrivers, etc.)
Experience with a Digital Voltmeter
Qualifications & Experience:
The ability to be on site 5 days a week, hours negotiable.
