We are hiring a highly motivated Engineering Project Coordinator for our client in the Sterling Heights, MI, area. 

The person selected for this opportunity will be responsible for tracking and maintaining the status of models and drawings through Teamcenter, a PLM (Project Life Cycle Management) software. This individual will provide technical input for designs and work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to ensure that all models and drawings are up-to-date and accessible.

Note: This position requires overtime, up to 7 days a week until program schedule is on track or foreseeable future. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of models and drawings, including creation, review, approval, and release.
  • Ensure that all models and drawings are up-to-date and accessible through Teamcenter.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure that all models and drawings meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and report on the status of models and drawings to project stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to the management of models and drawings.
  • Provide support and training to project team members on the use of Teamcenter.
  • Update and Review Drafting Standards and Technical Data Package (TDP) Requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Design, Manufacturing or related.
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience working with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter. Knowledge of CAD tools such as CREO or NX are a plus
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Experience being a self-starter and working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team
Additional Information
  • Prior experience working on ground based Military Vehicles a plus.
  • Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position
  • Able to work overtime when required

Pay $38 - $43 / hour depending on experience
